Tricolor Foundation's Impactful Visit to East Los Angeles College

ELAC is a Hispanic-Serving Institution and ranked first in the nation for enrollment of Hispanic students at a community college in the 2021-2022 academic year. This visit, marked by collaborative initiatives and empowering conversations, underscored the Foundation's dedication to supporting institutions of higher education which are committed to serving the Hispanic community.</span></pre>

Román. This meeting laid the foundation for a partnership geared towards enhancing the overall educational experience for Hispanic students at ELAC.</span></pre>

The Tricolor Foundation also toured ELAC’s Latina Completion Center and heard firsthand how the center supports Latina students’ efforts to complete a degree, certificate, or transfer to a four-year institution. Additionally, the Foundation had the opportunity to tour the college's automotive program, gaining insights into the innovative initiatives shaping the future of education at ELAC.</span></pre>

The scholarship is designed to support Hispanic students in the Los Angeles Community College District and serves as a testament to the Foundation's dedication to providing financial assistance to deserving students across the district’s nine campuses, enabling them to pursue their educational goals and uplift their communities.</span></pre>
