Tricolor Foundation's $50,000 Contribution to No Kid Hungry Texas: Fighting Hunger, Nurturing Hope

The Tricolor Foundation recently provided a grant of $50,000 to support No Kid Hungry Texas, part of Share Our Strength’s national No Kid Hungry campaign, which seeks to eradicate childhood hunger in Texas. This donation not only underscores the Foundation's dedication to fighting childhood hunger but also serves as a beacon of hope for countless families and children across the Lone Star State.
According to recent statistics, approximately 1 in 5 Hispanic families in the United States face hunger. Children in these families face not only physical challenges but also emotional and cognitive hurdles, hindering their ability to thrive and reach their full potential.
No Kid Hungry Texas is committed to ending childhood hunger by ensuring that every child has access to nutritious food. Through innovative programs and partnerships with schools, community organizations, and government agencies, No Kid Hungry Texas works tirelessly to provide meals, empower families, and advocate for systemic change.
The Tricolor Foundation's donation represents more than just a financial contribution; it symbolizes a collective commitment to making a tangible difference in the lives of vulnerable children and families. With $50,000, No Kid Hungry Texas can expand its reach, provide more meals, and implement sustainable solutions to address the root causes of hunger.
Moreover, the Tricolor Foundation's support of No Kid Hungry Texas underscores the importance of collaboration in tackling complex social issues. By joining forces, organizations can leverage their strengths, resources, and expertise to create meaningful change and build a brighter future for generations to come.
As part of the Tricolor Foundation’s continued collaboration with No Kid Hungry, the Foundation recently visited with members of No Kid Hungry California to learn more about their work in the state and meet with representatives from the El Rancho Unified School District (ERUSD). No Kid Hungry California has provided grants for ERUSD to increase their ability to provide students with nutritious meals. Thanks to No Kid Hungry California’s support, ERUSD has seen dramatic increases in student participation in school meals.
The Tricolor Foundation is proud to call No Kid Hungry a partner in the movement to ensure that every child has the food and resources they need to thrive. Together, we can turn the tide against childhood hunger and build a more equitable and compassionate world for all.
